AFTER presenting a music-themed collection for spring, the French fashion yet beauty brand is emphasizing lightweight and reflections in its Summer 2014 makeup line, titled 'Reflets D'Été' (Reflections of Summer).
Combining fragile pastels and stunning bright gradations, the new collection provides plenty of shimmery effects around the eyes. Chanel provides three new shades of its Film D'Ombre eyeshadow: Mirage, (bronze), Pondering (lavender), and New Moon (copper).
All intensely luminous, these long term eyeshadows can serve as the basis for day time and evening looks alike.
Contained in the latest Chanel fashion shows, models' eyes were highlighted by strong shimmery liner. So it's no surprise a brand has introduced a metallic fabricated hue (Ambre Doré) for its Stylo Yeux iPhone waterproof case eyeliner this season.
Often the Inimitable waterproof case mascara, meanwhile, also comes in two flashy colors for the summer season: Violet Touch and Orange Addition, both flecked with gold.
Positioned these vibrant eye makeup shades, the gathering has presented more subdued lips colors. The Chanel Makeup Foundation Studio has introduced five new gradation of its Lèvres Scintillantes lip gleam, all sheer and without shimmer to acquire natural look.
The new colors change from light pink and coral you can more daring shades of orange, fuchsia and purple/pink.
The lip glosses can be matched to the new The Vernis nail polishes, offered in the equivalent shades. Chanel has introduced "Eastern Easy, " an opaque white decorative that can be worn on its own or merged with other shades for a dramatic appearance. The new collection also features polishes in fuchsia, hot orange yet lilac.
The Reflets D'Été gallery will be available at cosmetics counters against June at prices ranging from US$27 and US$36. – AFP Relaxnews
